How to Get Here

By Car:

From Oxford or Witney: Turn off the A40 between Oxford and Witney on the road signposted Freeland (opposite the Evenlode Pub near Eynsham). Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you come to the Anglican church on the left. The next entrance on the left leads to the Old Parsonage, where there is parking space in front of the house.

By Bus from Oxford:

The No.11 bus for Witney via Hanborough departs from New Road (stop E4) hourly from 9:15am until 3:15pm; then 4:35pm, 5:35pm, and 6:20pm (not Saturdays). This bus passes the stop opposite the railway station a few minutes later. In each case, look for the appropriate Stagecoach No.11 stop. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the stop opposite The Oxfordshire Yeoman pub in Freeland. Get off here, cross the road, and walk past the church to the Old Parsonage drive on the left.

There is no bus service on Sundays or public holidays.

The nearest railway station, about three miles from the Old Parsonage, is Long Hanborough on the Cotswold Line Service of Thames Trains.
